Breathe

Purposefully, intentionally and slowly. Take a few deep breaths in your nose and out your mouth. Even better if these breaths are of fresh air!

Move

Get your body moving to release pent up anxiety. A brisk walk, 10 minute workout or dancing in the kitchen. Whatever works for you just get a little blood pumping.

Calm your mind

Read scripture, poems, pray, or journal. Take a few minutes to relax into the good of now. Think of the things you are thankful for.

Do Something Good

Write a letter to an elderly relative, gather donations for a homeless shelter or food pantry, find some other small way to bless a friend.
